With expertise in research, writing, and case analysis, attorney Garrett Tomlinson works alongside Henry Staley to evaluate cases and develop strategies. Before joining Staley Law in early 2010, Garrett had seven years of experience working as a law clerk and attorney in business, contract, intellectual property, tax, and Internet law. Since 2010, his focus has been in negotiation and litigation.

Garrett became interested in law while taking computer and Internet law classes during his undergrad at Georgia Tech. After graduating with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, he entered law school assuming that he would specialize in patents surrounding computer engineering and software, but became more interested in other aspects of the law. A member of the Georgia State Bar since 2008, Garrett is a graduate of the Georgia State University College of Law and worked in the College of Law's Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic.

Garrett is passionate about cases involving the poor or badly injured. In addition to his experience in injury cases at Staley Law Firm, Garrett also has experience in association law, corporate law, contracts, intellectual property, immigration filings, and tax law matters.

Outside of work, Garrett enjoys reading, exercise, cooking, being in nature, and "watching NOVA and nerdy stuff like that." He is happily married and attends Shadowbrook Church in Suwanee, GA.
