It's often said that husbands and wives should never work together, but Henry and Liz Staley enjoy defying the odds. The couple has been married for 35 years, and Liz has spent many of those years serving as Henry's paralegal at Staley Law. Liz enjoys helping their clients through a difficult time, and prides the firm on treating clients as real people, rather than just a name or number. She is known for her exceptional people skills and flexibility to handle any task or issue thrown her way with poise.

Originally hailing from Ohio, Liz's career as a legal secretary and paralegal began while working at a law firm in college at Bowling Green State University. After moving to Georgia in 1976, she took a job as a paralegal in personal injury, workers' compensation, and real estate law. All together, she has 10 years of paralegal experience in personal injury law, as well as many additional years of assisting Henry with his cases as needed.

Liz has been a member of Duluth First United Methodist Church for 35 years, heading up the prayer quilt ministry, teaching Sunday School, and leading ladies' Bible studies. Outside of work, Liz enjoys quilting, reading, sailing, and traveling – specifically to their vacation home on Hird Island, Georgia.

Liz and Henry have two sons: Jamie, a youth and adult minister in Boston, Massachusetts, and David, a civil engineer in Jacksonville, Florida.
